حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، بِإِسْنَادِ ابْنِ مِنْهَالٍ مِثْلَهُ قَالَ فِي دَابَّةٍ وَلَيْسَ لَهُمَا بَيِّنَةٌ فَأَمَرَهُمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَنْ يَسْتَهِمَا عَلَى الْيَمِينِ ‏.‏

The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by sa’id b. ‘Urubah through the chain as narrated by Ibn Minhal. This version has :About an animal and they had no proof. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered to cast lots about the oath

Ce récit a également été rapporté par Sa’id ibn ‘Urubah avec la chaîne rapportée par Ibn Minhal. Cette version précise : « À propos d’un animal, et ils n’avaient aucune preuve. Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a donc ordonné de tirer au sort pour le serment. »
