Sunan Abi Dawud, 3559

Narrated Zayd ibn Thabit: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If anyone gives something in life-tenancy, it belongs to the one to whom it is given, in his life and after his death; and do not give property to go to the survivor, for if anyone gives something to to to the survivor, it belongs to him

Rapporté par Zayd ibn Thabit رضي الله عنه : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Si quelqu’un donne quelque chose en usufruit viager, cela appartient à celui qui le reçoit, de son vivant et après sa mort. Et ne donnez pas de biens pour qu’ils reviennent au survivant, car si quelqu’un fait cela, cela lui appartient. »
