Sunan Abi Dawud, 3545

Narrated Jabir:Bashir's wife said (to her husband): Give my son your slave, and call the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as witness for me. So he came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: The daughter of so-and-so has asked me to give her som my slave and said to me: Call the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) as witness for her. He asked: Has he brothers? He replied: Yes. He again asked: Has he given them all the same as you have given him? He replied: No. He said: This is not good, and I will be a witness to what it right

Rapporté par Jabir رضي الله عنه : La femme de Bashir dit à son mari : « Donne mon fils ton esclave, et fais du Messager d’Allah ﷺ un témoin pour moi. » Il alla donc voir le Messager d’Allah ﷺ et dit : « La fille d’untel m’a demandé de donner à son fils mon esclave et m’a dit de te prendre comme témoin. » Le Prophète ﷺ demanda : « A-t-il des frères ? » Il répondit : « Oui. » Il demanda encore : « Leur as-tu donné à tous la même chose ? » Il répondit : « Non. » Il dit : « Ce n’est pas bien, et je ne serai témoin que de ce qui est juste. »
