Sunan Abi Dawud, 3510

Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: A man bought a slave, and he remained with him as long as Allah wished him to remain. He then found defect in him. He brought his dispute with him to the Prophet (ﷺ) and he returned him to him. The man said: Messenger of Allah, my slave earned some wages. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then said: Profit follows responsibility. Abu Dawud said: This chain of narrators (of this version) is not reliable

Rapporté par Aisha, la mère des croyants رضي الله عنها : Un homme a acheté un esclave, qui est resté chez lui aussi longtemps qu’Allah l’a voulu. Ensuite, il a découvert un défaut chez l’esclave et a porté le litige devant le Prophète ﷺ, qui lui a permis de rendre l’esclave. L’homme a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, mon esclave a gagné de l’argent. » Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a alors dit : « Le profit va avec la responsabilité. » Abu Dawud a dit : Cette chaîne de transmission n’est pas fiable
