Narrated Qays ibn AbuGharazah: In the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) we used to be called brokers, but the Prophet (ﷺ) came upon us one day, and called us by a better name than that, saying: O company of merchants, unprofitable speech and swearing takes place in business dealings, so mix it with sadaqah (alms)Rapporté par Qays ibn Abu Gharazah : À l’époque du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, on nous appelait des courtiers, mais un jour, le Prophète ﷺ est venu vers nous et nous a donné un nom meilleur en disant : « Ô groupe de commerçants, il y a souvent des paroles inutiles et des serments dans les transactions commerciales, alors accompagnez-les de sadaqah (aumône). »Grades given by scholars
