Sunan Abi Dawud, 3284

Narrated Abu Hurairah:A man brought the Prophet (ﷺ) a black slave girl. He said: Messenger of Allah, emancipation of believing slave is due to me. He asked her: Where is Allah ? She pointed to the heaven with her finger. He then asked her: Who am I ? She pointed to the Prophet (ﷺ) and to the heaven, that is to say: You are the Messenger of Allah. He then said: Set her free, she is a believer

Rapporté par Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه : Un homme a amené au Prophète ﷺ une esclave noire. Il a dit : « Messager d’Allah, je dois affranchir un esclave croyant. » Il lui a demandé : « Où est Allah ? » Elle a montré le ciel du doigt. Il lui a ensuite demandé : « Qui suis-je ? » Elle a montré le Prophète ﷺ puis le ciel, c’est-à-dire : « Tu es le Messager d’Allah. » Il a alors dit : « Affranchis-la, c’est une croyante. »
