حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عُيَيْنَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ فِي جَنَازَةِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ وَكُنَّا نَمْشِي مَشْيًا خَفِيفًا فَلَحِقَنَا أَبُو بَكْرَةَ فَرَفَعَ سَوْطَهُ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنَا وَنَحْنُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَرْمُلُ رَمَلاً .
Uyaynah ibn AbdurRahman reported on the authority of his father that he attended the funeral of Uthman ibn Abul'As. He said:We were walking slowly. AbuBakrah then joined us and he raised his flog at us and said: You have seen us when we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). We were walking quicklyUyaynah ibn AbdurRahman a rapporté d’après son père qu’il a assisté aux funérailles de Uthman ibn Abul'As. Il a dit : « Nous marchions lentement. Abu Bakrah nous a rejoints, a levé son fouet vers nous et a dit : “Vous nous avez vus, lorsque nous étions avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ, nous marchions rapidement.” »Grades given by scholars
