Sunan Abi Dawud, 2965

Narrated 'Umar: The properties of Banu al-Nadir were part of what Allah bestowed on His Apostle from what the Muslims has not ridden on horses or camels to get; so they belonged specially to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) who gave his family their annual contribution. Ibn 'Abdah said: His family (ahlihi) and not the members of his houses (ahl baitihi) ; then applied what remained for horses and weapons in Allah's path

Rapporté par ‘Umar رضي الله عنه : Les biens de Banu al-Nadir faisaient partie de ce qu’Allah avait accordé à Son Messager ﷺ, sans que les musulmans aient eu à monter des chevaux ou des chameaux pour les obtenir ; ils appartenaient donc spécialement au Messager d’Allah ﷺ, qui donnait à sa famille leur part annuelle. Ibn ‘Abdah a dit : Sa famille (ahlihi) et non les membres de sa maison (ahl baytihi) ; puis il utilisait le reste pour les chevaux et les armes dans la voie d’Allah
