Sunan Abi Dawud, 2927

Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: Sa'id said: Umar ibn al-Khattab said: Blood-money is meant for the clan of the slain, and she will not inherit from the blood-money of her husband. Ad-Dahhak ibn Sufyan said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wrote to me that I should give a share to the wife of Ashyam ad-Dubabi from the blood-money of her husband. So Umar withdrew his opinion. Ahmad ibn Salih said: AbdurRazzaq transmitted this tradition to us from Ma'mar, from az-Zuhri on the authority of Sa'id. In this version he said: The Prophet (ﷺ) made him governor over the bedouins

Rapporté par Omar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه : Sa’id a dit : Omar ibn al-Khattab a dit : « Le prix du sang revient à la famille de la personne tuée, et la femme n’hérite pas du prix du sang de son mari. » Ad-Dahhak ibn Sufyan a dit : « Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ m’a écrit pour que je donne une part du prix du sang à la femme de Ashyam ad-Dubabi, après la mort de son mari. » Alors Omar a changé d’avis. Ahmad ibn Salih a dit : AbdurRazzaq nous a transmis ce récit de Ma’mar, de az-Zuhri, d’après Sa’id. Dans cette version, il est dit : Le Prophète ﷺ l’a nommé gouverneur des bédouins
