Sunan Abi Dawud, 2385

Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: I got excited, so I kissed while I was fasting, I then said: Messenger of Allah, I have done a big deed; I kissed while I was fasting. He said: What do you think if you rinse your mouth with water while you are fasting. The narrator Isa ibn Hammad said in his version: I said to him: There is no harm in it. Then both of them agreed on the version: He said: Then what?

Rapporté par Omar ibn al-Khattab رضي الله عنه : J’ai été pris par le désir, alors j’ai embrassé alors que je jeûnais. J’ai ensuite dit : « Messager d’Allah, j’ai fait une grande chose ; j’ai embrassé alors que je jeûnais. » Il a dit : « Que penses-tu si tu rinces ta bouche avec de l’eau pendant que tu jeûnes ? » Le rapporteur Isa ibn Hammad a dit dans sa version : « Je lui ai dit : Il n’y a pas de mal à cela. » Ensuite, tous deux sont tombés d’accord sur la version suivante : Il a dit : « Alors, qu’en est-il ? »
