Sunan Abi Dawud, 2119

Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited the tashahhud....He then narrated the same tradition. In this version after the word "and His Apostle" he added the words: "He has sent him in truth as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner before the Hour. He who obeys Allah and His Prophet is on the right path, and he who disobeys them does not harm anyone except himself, and he does not harm Allah to the least

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Mas’ud رضي الله عنه : Lorsque le Messager d’Allah ﷺ récitait le tashahhud… Il raconta ensuite le même récit. Dans cette version, après les mots « et Son Messager », il ajouta : « Il l’a envoyé avec la vérité comme annonciateur de bonnes nouvelles et avertisseur avant l’Heure. Celui qui obéit à Allah et à Son Prophète est sur la bonne voie, et celui qui leur désobéit ne nuit qu’à lui-même, et il ne nuit en rien à Allah. »
