Sunan Abi Dawud, 2030

(Al-Aslamiyyah said:I said to Uthman ibn Talhah al-Hajabi): What did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say to you when he called you? He said: (The Prophet said:) I forgot to order you to cover the two horns (of the lamb), for it is not advisable that there should be anything in the House (the Ka'bah) which diverts the attention of the man at prayer. Ibn as-Sarh said: The name of my maternal uncle is Musafi' ibn Shaybah

(Al-Aslamiyyah a dit : J’ai demandé à Uthman ibn Talhah al-Hajabi) : Qu’est-ce que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ t’a dit quand il t’a appelé ? Il a répondu : (Le Prophète a dit :) « J’ai oublié de te demander de couvrir les deux cornes (du bélier), car il n’est pas recommandé qu’il y ait dans la Maison (la Ka’bah) quelque chose qui détourne l’attention de celui qui prie. » Ibn as-Sarh a dit : Le nom de mon oncle maternel est Musafi’ ibn Shaybah
