Sunan Abi Dawud, 1157

Narrated AbuUmayr ibn Anas: AbuUmayr reported on the authority of some of his paternal uncles who were Companions of the Prophet (ﷺ): Some men came riding to the Prophet (ﷺ) and testified that they had sighted the new moon the previous day. He (the Holy Prophet), therefore, commanded the people to break the fast and to go out to their place of prayer in the morning

Rapporté par Abu Umayr ibn Anas : Abu Umayr a rapporté de la part de certains de ses oncles paternels, qui étaient des Compagnons du Prophète ﷺ : Des hommes sont venus à cheval vers le Prophète ﷺ et ont témoigné avoir vu le nouveau croissant de lune la veille. Le Prophète a donc ordonné aux gens de rompre le jeûne et de sortir à leur lieu de prière le matin
