Sunan Abi Dawud, 1155

Narrated Abdullah ibn as-Sa'ib: I attended the 'Id prayer along with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). When he finished the prayer, he said: We shall deliver the sermon; he who likes to sit for listening to it may sit and he who likes to go away may go away. Abu Dawud said: this is a mursal tradition (i.e. the successor 'Ata directly reporting from the Prophet (ﷺ) and omitting the link of the Companions

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn as-Sa'ib : J’ai assisté à la prière de l’Aïd avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Lorsqu’il a terminé la prière, il a dit : « Nous allons prononcer le sermon ; celui qui souhaite rester pour l’écouter peut rester, et celui qui veut partir peut partir. » Abu Dawud a précisé : il s’agit d’une tradition mursal (c’est-à-dire que le successeur ‘Ata rapporte directement du Prophète ﷺ en omettant le lien avec les Compagnons)
