Explaining the tradition of the Prophet (ﷺ) that the ablution of a person who does not mention the name of Allah is valid, Rabi’ah said:This tradition means that if a person performs ablution and takes a bath but does not have the intention to perform ablution for prayer and purify himself from sexual defilement, his ablution or bath is not validEn expliquant le hadith du Prophète ﷺ selon lequel les ablutions de celui qui ne mentionne pas le nom d’Allah sont valables, Rabi’ah a dit : « Ce hadith signifie que si quelqu’un fait ses ablutions ou prend un bain sans avoir l’intention de le faire pour la prière ou pour se purifier d’une impureté majeure, ses ablutions ou son bain ne sont pas valables. »Grades given by scholars
