سنن أبي داود 4473

Narrated Ali ibn AbuTalib: A slave-girl belonging to the house of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) committed fornication. He (the Prophet) said: Rush up, Ali, and inflict the prescribed punishment on her. I then hurried up, and saw that blood was flowing from her, and did not stop. So I came to him and he said: Have you finished inflicting (punishment on her)? I said: I went to her while her blood was flowing. He said: Leave her alone till her bleeding stops; then inflict the prescribed punishment on her. And inflict the prescribed punishment on those whom your right hands possess (i.e. slaves). Abu Dawud said: A similar tradition has been transmitted by Abu al-Ahwas from 'Abd al-A'la, and also by Shu'bah from 'Abd al-A'la. This version has: He said: Do not give her beating until she gives birth to a child. But the former (version) is sounder

Rapporté par Ali ibn Abu Talib رضي الله عنه : Une esclave de la maison du Messager d’Allah ﷺ a commis la fornication. Il (le Prophète) a dit : « Dépêche-toi, Ali, et applique-lui la peine prescrite. » Je me suis donc dépêché, et j’ai vu que du sang coulait d’elle et ne s’arrêtait pas. Je suis alors revenu vers lui et il m’a dit : « As-tu fini de lui infliger la peine ? » J’ai dit : « Je suis allé vers elle alors qu’elle saignait. » Il a dit : « Laisse-la jusqu’à ce que son saignement s’arrête, puis applique-lui la peine prescrite. Et applique la peine prescrite à ceux que ta main droite possède (c’est-à-dire les esclaves). » Abu Dawud a dit : Une tradition similaire a été rapportée par Abu al-Ahwas d’après ‘Abd al-A’la, et aussi par Shu’bah d’après ‘Abd al-A’la. Cette version précise : Il a dit : « Ne la frappe pas jusqu’à ce qu’elle ait accouché. » Mais la première version est plus authentique
