It was narrated from 'Amr bin Maimun from "Abdullah bin Rubayy'ah As-Sulami, who was also one of the Companions of Allah's Messenger from 'Ubaid bin Khalid As-Sulami, that:the Messenger of Allah established the bond of brotherhood between two men. One of them was killed and the other died after him. We offered the funeral prayer for him, and the Prophet said: "What did you say?" They said: "O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, join him with his companion." The Prophet said: "Where is his Salah in comparison to his companion's Salah? Where are his deeds in comparison to his companion's deeds? Indeed the difference between heaven and Earth." Rapporté par ‘Amr bin Maimun d’après ‘Abdullah bin Rubayy’ah As-Sulami, qui était aussi un des Compagnons du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, d’après ‘Ubaid bin Khalid As-Sulami : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a établi un lien de fraternité entre deux hommes. L’un d’eux a été tué et l’autre est mort après lui. Nous avons accompli la prière funéraire pour lui, et le Prophète ﷺ a dit : "Qu’avez-vous dit ?" Ils ont répondu : "Ô Allah, pardonne-lui ; ô Allah, fais-lui miséricorde ; ô Allah, réunis-le avec son compagnon." Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : "Où est sa prière par rapport à la prière de son compagnon ? Où sont ses œuvres par rapport à celles de son compagnon ? Il y a entre eux la différence entre le ciel et la terre." (‘Amr bin Maimun a dit : "J’ai été content de cela car il l’a expliqué pour moi)
