It was narrated from Shaddad bin Al-Had that:a man from among the Bedouins came to the Prophet and believed in him and followed him, then he said: "I will emigrate with you." The Prophet told one of his Companions to look after him. During one battle the Prophet got some prisoners as spoils of war, and he distributed them, giving him (that Bedouin) a share. His Companions gave him what had been allocated to him. He had been looking after some livestock for them, and when he came they gave him his share. He said: "What is this?" They said: "A share that the Prophet has allocated to you." He took it and brought it to the Prophet and said: "What is this?" He said: "I allocated it to your." He said: "It is not for this that I follwed you. Rather I followed you so that I might be shot her - and he pointed to his throat - with an arrow and die and enter Paradise." He said: "If you are sincere toward Allah, Allah will fulfill your wish." Shortly after that they got up to fight the enemy, then he was brought to the Prophet; he had pointed to. The Prophet said: "Is it him?" They said: "yes." He said: "He was sincere toward Allah and Allah fulfilled his wish." Then the Prophet shrouded him in his own cloak and out him in front of him and offered the (funeral) prayer for him. During his supplication he said: "O allah, this is Your sloave who went out as a emigrant (Muhajir) for your sake and was killed as a martyr; I am a witness to that.: (Sahih)

Rapporté par Shaddad bin Al-Had : Un homme parmi les Bédouins est venu voir le Prophète ﷺ, a cru en lui et l’a suivi, puis il a dit : « Je vais émigrer avec toi. » Le Prophète ﷺ a demandé à l’un de ses Compagnons de s’occuper de lui. Lors d’une bataille, le Prophète ﷺ a obtenu des prisonniers comme butin de guerre et il les a partagés, donnant à ce Bédouin une part. Ses Compagnons lui ont remis ce qui lui avait été attribué. Il s’occupait de certains troupeaux pour eux, et quand il est revenu, ils lui ont donné sa part. Il a dit : « Qu’est-ce que c’est ? » Ils ont répondu : « C’est une part que le Prophète ﷺ t’a attribuée. » Il l’a prise et l’a apportée au Prophète ﷺ en disant : « Qu’est-ce que c’est ? » Le Prophète ﷺ a répondu : « Je te l’ai attribuée. » Il a dit : « Ce n’est pas pour cela que je t’ai suivi. Je t’ai suivi pour que je sois touché ici » – il a montré sa gorge – « par une flèche, que je meure et que j’entre au Paradis. » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Si tu es sincère envers Allah, Allah exaucera ton souhait. » Peu après, ils sont partis combattre l’ennemi, puis on l’a ramené au Prophète ﷺ, touché à l’endroit qu’il avait montré. Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Est-ce lui ? » Ils ont répondu : « Oui. » Il a dit : « Il a été sincère envers Allah et Allah a exaucé son souhait. » Ensuite, le Prophète ﷺ l’a enveloppé dans son propre manteau, l’a placé devant lui et a accompli la prière funéraire pour lui. Pendant son invocation, il a dit : « Ô Allah, voici Ton serviteur qui est parti en émigrant pour Toi et qui a été tué en martyr ; j’en suis témoin. » (Sahih)
