سنن النسائي 158

Zirr bin Hubaish narrated:"I came to a man called Safwan bin 'Assal and sat at his door. He came out and said: 'What do you want?' I said: 'I am seeking knowledge.' He said: 'The angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge out of pleasure at what he is seeking.' He said: 'What do you want to know about?' I said: 'About the Khuffs.' He said: 'When we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey, he told us not to take them off for three days except in the case of Janabah, but not in the case of defecation, urinating or sleep

Rapporté par Zirr bin Hubaish : « Je suis allé voir un homme appelé Safwan bin 'Assal et je me suis assis devant sa porte. Il est sorti et a dit : “Que veux-tu ?” J’ai répondu : “Je cherche la connaissance.” Il a dit : “Les anges baissent leurs ailes pour celui qui cherche la connaissance, par plaisir pour ce qu’il recherche.” Il a dit : “Que veux-tu savoir ?” J’ai dit : “À propos des khuffs (chaussons en cuir).” Il a dit : “Quand nous étions avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) en voyage, il nous a dit de ne pas les enlever pendant trois jours sauf en cas de grande impureté, mais pas pour la défécation, l’urine ou le sommeil.” »
