سنن النسائي 1244

It was narrated from 'Abdullah that:The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed Zuhr then he turned to face them and they said: 'Has there been some change concerning the prayer?' He said: 'Why are you asking?' They told him what he had done, so he turned back toward the Qiblah and prostrated twice. Then he said the salam and turned to face them and said: 'I am only human, I forget as you forget, so if I forget, then remind me.' And he said: 'If there had been some change concerning the prayer I would have told you.' And he said: 'If one of you is not sure about his prayer, let him estimate what is closest to what is correct, then let him complete it on that basis, then prostrate twice

Rapporté par ‘Abdullah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a prié le Zuhr puis s’est tourné vers eux et ils ont dit : "Y a-t-il eu un changement concernant la prière ?" Il a dit : "Pourquoi demandez-vous ?" Ils lui ont expliqué ce qu’il avait fait, alors il s’est tourné vers la Qibla et a fait deux prosternations. Ensuite, il a fait le salam, s’est tourné vers eux et a dit : "Je ne suis qu’un être humain, j’oublie comme vous oubliez, alors si j’oublie, rappelez-le-moi." Et il a dit : "S’il y avait eu un changement concernant la prière, je vous l’aurais dit." Et il a ajouté : "Si l’un de vous n’est pas sûr de sa prière, qu’il estime ce qui est le plus proche de la vérité, puis qu’il la termine sur cette base, puis qu’il se prosterne deux fois
