Hammim b. Munabbih reported:This is what Abu Huraira reported to us from Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and in this connection he narrated some of the ahadith and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: It was said to people of Israel: Enter this land saying Hitta (Remove Thou from us the burden of our sins), whereupon We would forgive you your sins, but they twisted (this statement) and entered the gate dragging upon their breech and said: The" grain in the ear

Rapporté par Hammim ibn Munabbih رضي الله عنه : Voici ce qu’Abu Huraira رضي الله عنه nous a rapporté du Messager d’Allah ﷺ : Il a été dit aux enfants d’Israël : « Entrez dans cette terre en disant “Hitta” (Ô Allah, enlève de nous le fardeau de nos péchés), et Nous vous pardonnerons vos fautes. » Mais ils ont déformé cette parole, sont entrés en traînant sur leurs fesses et ont dit : « Le grain dans l’épi. »
