صحيح مسلم 7360

Nafi' reported that Ibn 'Umar said:I met lbn Sayyad twice and said to some of them (his friends): You state that it was he (the Dajjal). He said: By Allah, it is not so. I said: You have not told me the truth; by Allah some of you informed me that he would not die until he would have the largest number of offspring and huge wealth and it is he about whom it is thought so. Then Ibn Sayyad talked to us. I then departed and met him again for the second time and his eye had been swollen. I said: What has happened to your eye? He said: I do not know. I said: This is in your head and you do not know about it? He said: If Allah so wills He can create it (eye) in your staff. He then produced a sound like the braying of a donkey. Some of my companions thought that I had struck him with the staff as he was with me that the staff broke into pieces, but, by Allah, I was not conscious of it. He then came to the Mother of the Faithful (Hafsa) and narrated it to her and she said: What concern you have with him? Don't you know that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) said that the first thing (by the incitement of which) he would come out before the public would be his anger?

Rapporté par Nafi’ رضي الله عنه : Ibn ‘Umar رضي الله عنه a dit : J’ai rencontré Ibn Sayyad deux fois et j’ai dit à certains de mes amis : « Vous dites que c’est lui (le Dajjal). » Il a répondu : « Par Allah, ce n’est pas lui. » J’ai dit : « Tu ne m’as pas dit la vérité ; par Allah, certains d’entre vous m’ont informé qu’il ne mourrait pas avant d’avoir beaucoup d’enfants et de grandes richesses, et c’est bien de lui qu’on parle. » Ensuite, Ibn Sayyad nous a parlé. Je suis parti et je l’ai rencontré une deuxième fois, et son œil était gonflé. Je lui ai demandé : « Qu’est-il arrivé à ton œil ? » Il a répondu : « Je ne sais pas. » J’ai dit : « C’est dans ta tête et tu ne sais pas ce qui s’est passé ? » Il a dit : « Si Allah le veut, Il peut le créer dans ton bâton. » Il a alors poussé un cri semblable au braiment d’un âne. Certains de mes compagnons ont cru que je l’avais frappé avec mon bâton, car il était avec moi et le bâton s’est cassé, mais, par Allah, je ne m’en suis pas rendu compte. Il est ensuite allé voir la Mère des croyants (Hafsa رضي الله عنها) et lui a raconté cela. Elle lui a dit : « Pourquoi t’occupes-tu de lui ? Ne sais-tu pas que le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a dit que la première chose qui le fera sortir devant les gens sera sa colère ? »
