صحيح مسلم 2925

Umra reported:I heard A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) as saying: We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) five days before the end of Dhi Qa'dah, and we did see but that he intended to perform Hajj (only), but as we came near Mecca the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commanded that he who did not have the sacrificial animal with him should put off Ihram after circumambulating the House and running between al-Safa and aI-Marwa (and thus convert his Ihram from that of Hajj to 'Umra). 'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) said: The flesh of cow was sent to us on the Day of Sacrifice (10th of Dhu'I-Hijja). I said. What is this? It was said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sacrificed (the cow) on behalf of his wives. Yahya said: I made a mention of this hadith (what has been stated by Umra) to Qasim b. Muhammad, whereupon be said: By Allah, she has rightly narrated it to you

Rapporté par Umra : J’ai entendu Aïcha (la mère des croyants) رضي الله عنها dire : « Nous sommes partis avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ cinq jours avant la fin de Dhou al-Qa’da, et nous pensions tous qu’il avait l’intention de faire uniquement le Hajj. Mais en approchant de La Mecque, le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a ordonné à ceux qui n’avaient pas d’animal à sacrifier d’enlever leur Ihram après avoir fait le tawaf autour de la Kaaba et le parcours entre Safa et Marwa, et ainsi de transformer leur Ihram de Hajj en ‘Umra. » Aïcha رضي الله عنها a ajouté : « Le jour du sacrifice (le 10 de Dhou al-Hijja), on nous a envoyé de la viande de vache. J’ai demandé : “Qu’est-ce que c’est ?” On m’a répondu : “Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a sacrifié cette vache pour ses épouses.” » Yahya a dit : « J’ai rapporté ce hadith à Qasim ibn Muhammad, et il a dit : “Par Allah, elle t’a bien transmis ce récit.” »
