سنن ابن ماجه 3978

It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that a man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:“Which of the people is best?” He said: “A man who strives in Jihad in the cause of Allah with himself and his wealth.” He said: “Then who?” He said: “A man in a mountain pass who worships Allah and leaves the people from his evil.”

Rapporté par Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri : Un homme est venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et a dit : “Qui sont les meilleures personnes ?” Il a répondu : “Un homme qui lutte dans le sentier d’Allah avec sa personne et ses biens.” Il a demandé : “Et ensuite ?” Il a dit : “Un homme qui se trouve dans un col de montagne, qui adore Allah et qui protège les gens de son mal.”
