سنن ابن ماجه 2511

Sulaiman bin Hayyan said:“I heard my father narrate from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: 'Among those who came before you there was a man who bought some property and found therein a jar of gold. He said: “I bought land from you, but I did not buy the gold from you.” The man said: “Rather I sold you the land with whatever is in it.” They referred their case to (a third) man who said: “Do you have children?” One of them said: “I have a boy.” The other said: “I have a girl.” He said: “Marry the boy to the girl, and let them spend on themselves from it and give in charity.”

Rapporté par Sulaiman bin Hayyan : J’ai entendu mon père rapporter d’Abu Hurairah que le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Parmi ceux qui vous ont précédés, un homme a acheté un terrain et y a trouvé un pot rempli d’or. Il a dit : “Je t’ai acheté le terrain, mais pas l’or.” L’autre a répondu : “Je t’ai vendu le terrain avec tout ce qu’il contient.” Ils ont alors consulté un troisième homme qui leur a demandé : “Avez-vous des enfants ?” L’un a dit : “J’ai un garçon.” L’autre a dit : “J’ai une fille.” Il a dit : “Mariez le garçon à la fille, qu’ils vivent de cet or et qu’ils en fassent l’aumône.” »
