سنن ابن ماجه 2

Abu Hurairah narrated that:The Prophet said: "Leave me as I have left you (Don't ask me the minor things that I have avoided to tell you). For those who came before you were doomed because of their questions and differences with their Prophets. If I commanded you to do something, then do as much of it as you can, and if I forbid you from doing something, then refrain from it

Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Prophète a dit : "Laissez-moi comme je vous ai laissés (ne me posez pas de questions sur les détails que j’ai choisi de ne pas expliquer). Ceux qui vous ont précédés ont été perdus à cause de leurs questions et de leurs divergences avec leurs Prophètes. Si je vous ordonne quelque chose, faites-en autant que vous le pouvez, et si je vous interdis quelque chose, abstenez-vous-en
