سنن ابن ماجه 1236

Hamzah bin Mughirah bin Shu’bah narrated that his father said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) lagged behind (on a journey) and we reached the people when ‘Abdur Rahman bin ‘Awf had already led them in one Rak’ah of the prayer. When he realized that the Prophet (ﷺ) was there, he wanted to step back, but the Prophet (ﷺ) gestured to him that he should complete the prayer. He said: ‘You have done well, do the same in the future.’”

Rapporté par Hamzah bin Mughirah bin Shu’bah, d’après son père : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est arrivé en retard lors d’un voyage, et nous avons rejoint les gens alors qu’Abdur Rahman bin ‘Awf avait déjà dirigé une unité de prière. Quand il a compris que le Prophète (ﷺ) était là, il a voulu reculer, mais le Prophète (ﷺ) lui a fait signe de terminer la prière. Il a dit : “Tu as bien fait, fais de même à l’avenir.”
