سنن ابن ماجه 1092

It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“When Friday comes, angels stand at every door of the mosque and record the names of the people who come, in order of arrival. When the Imam comes out, they close their records and listen to the sermon. The first one who comes to the prayer is like one who sacrifices a camel; the one who comes after him is like one who sacrifices a cow; the one who comes after him is like one who sacrifices a ram,” (and so on) until he made mention of a hen and an egg. Sahl added in his Hadith: “And whoever comes after that comes only to do his duty with regard to the prayer.”

Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : “Quand arrive le vendredi, les anges se tiennent à chaque porte de la mosquée et inscrivent les noms des personnes qui arrivent, selon leur ordre d’arrivée. Quand l’imam sort, ils ferment leurs registres et écoutent le sermon. Le premier à venir à la prière est comme celui qui sacrifie un chameau ; le suivant est comme celui qui sacrifie une vache ; le suivant comme celui qui sacrifie un bélier,” (et ainsi de suite) jusqu’à ce qu’il mentionne une poule et un œuf. Sahl a ajouté dans son récit : “Et celui qui vient après cela ne fait que s’acquitter de son devoir concernant la prière.”
