صحيح البخاري 7363

Narrated Ubaidullah:Ibn `Abbas said, "Why do you ask the people of the scripture about anything while your Book (Qur'an) which has been revealed to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) is newer and the latest? You read it pure, undistorted and unchanged, and Allah has told you that the people of the scripture (Jews and Christians) changed their scripture and distorted it, and wrote the scripture with their own hands and said, 'It is from Allah,' to sell it for a little gain. Does not the knowledge which has come to you prevent you from asking them about anything? No, by Allah, we have never seen any man from them asking you regarding what has been revealed to you

Rapporté par Ubaidullah : Ibn `Abbas a dit : « Pourquoi demandez-vous quoi que ce soit aux gens de l’Écriture alors que votre Livre (le Coran), qui a été révélé au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), est plus récent et le dernier ? Vous le lisez pur, sans altération ni changement, et Allah vous a informés que les gens de l’Écriture (juifs et chrétiens) ont modifié leur livre, l’ont déformé et l’ont écrit de leurs propres mains en disant : “C’est d’Allah”, pour en tirer un petit profit. La connaissance qui vous est parvenue ne vous empêche-t-elle pas de leur demander quoi que ce soit ? Non, par Allah, nous n’avons jamais vu aucun d’entre eux vous interroger au sujet de ce qui vous a été révélé. »
