صحيح البخاري 6841

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar:The jews came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and mentioned to him that a man and a lady among them had committed illegal sexual intercourse. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to them, "What do you find in the Torah regarding the Rajam?" They replied, "We only disgrace and flog them with stripes." `Abdullah bin Salam said to them, 'You have told a lie the penalty of Rajam is in the Torah.' They brought the Torah and opened it. One of them put his hand over the verse of the Rajam and read what was before and after it. `Abdullah bin Salam said to him, "Lift up your hand." Where he lifted it there appeared the verse of the Rajam. So they said, "O Muhammad! He has said the truth, the verse of the Rajam is in it (Torah)." Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered that the two persons (guilty of illegal sexual intercourse) be stoned to death, and so they were stoned, and I saw the man bending over the woman so as to protect her from the stones

Rapporté par `Abdullah bin `Umar : Les juifs sont venus voir le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et lui ont parlé d’un homme et d’une femme parmi eux qui avaient commis un acte sexuel interdit. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) leur a dit : « Qu’est-ce que vous trouvez dans la Torah à propos du Rajam ? » Ils ont répondu : « Nous les humilions seulement et les fouettons. » `Abdullah bin Salam leur a dit : « Vous mentez, la peine du Rajam est dans la Torah. » Ils ont apporté la Torah et l’ont ouverte. L’un d’eux a mis sa main sur le verset du Rajam et a lu ce qui était avant et après. `Abdullah bin Salam lui a dit : « Lève ta main. » Quand il l’a fait, le verset du Rajam est apparu. Alors ils ont dit : « Ô Muhammad ! Il a dit la vérité, le verset du Rajam est bien dans la Torah. » Ensuite, le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a ordonné que les deux personnes (coupables d’acte sexuel interdit) soient lapidées à mort, et elles l’ont été.
