صحيح البخاري 6673

Narrated Al-Bara bin Azib that once he had a guest, so he told his family (on the Day of Id-ul-Adha) that they should slaughter the animal for sacrifice before he returned from the ('Id) prayer in order that their guest could take his meal. So his family slaughtered (the animal ) before the prayer. Then they mentioned that event to the Prophet who ordered Al-Bara to slaughter another sacrifice. Al-Bara' said to the Prophet (ﷺ) , "I have a young milch she-goat which is better than two sheep for slaughtering." (The sub-narrator, Ibn 'Aun used to say, "I don't know whether the permission (to slaughter a she-goat as a sacrifice) was especially given to Al-Bara' or if it was in general for all the Muslims.") Rapporté par Al-Bara bin Azib : Un jour, il avait un invité, alors il a dit à sa famille (le jour de l’Aïd al-Adha) de sacrifier l’animal avant qu’il ne revienne de la prière de l’Aïd, afin que leur invité puisse manger. Sa famille a donc sacrifié l’animal avant la prière. Ils ont ensuite raconté cela au Prophète, qui a ordonné à Al-Bara de faire un autre sacrifice. Al-Bara a dit au Prophète (ﷺ) : « J’ai une jeune chèvre laitière qui vaut mieux que deux moutons pour le sacrifice. » (Le sous-narrateur, Ibn ‘Aun, disait : « Je ne sais pas si cette permission de sacrifier une chèvre a été donnée seulement à Al-Bara ou si elle s’appliquait à tous les musulmans. »)
