صحيح البخاري 6622

Narrated `Abdur-Rahman bin Samura:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O `Abdur-Rahman bin Samura! Do not seek to be a ruler, because if you are given authority for it, then you will be held responsible for it, but if you are given it without asking for it, then you will be helped in it (by Allah): and whenever you take an oath to do something and later you find that something else is better than the first, then do the better one and make expiation for your oath

Rapporté par `Abdur-Rahman bin Samura : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Ô `Abdur-Rahman bin Samura ! Ne cherche pas à devenir dirigeant, car si tu reçois une autorité en l’ayant demandée, tu en seras responsable, mais si on te la donne sans que tu l’aies demandée, tu seras aidé par Allah. Et chaque fois que tu fais un serment de faire quelque chose et que tu trouves ensuite que quelque chose d’autre est meilleur, fais ce qui est meilleur et accomplis l’expiation pour ton serment. »
