Narrated `Ikrima:Rifa`a divorced his wife whereupon `AbdurRahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi married her. `Aisha said that the lady (came), wearing a green veil (and complained to her (Aisha) of her husband and showed her a green spot on her skin caused by beating). It was the habit of ladies to support each other, so when Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) came, `Aisha said, "I have not seen any woman suffering as much as the believing women. Look! Her skin is greener than her clothes!" When `AbdurRahman heard that his wife had gone to the Prophet, he came with his two sons from another wife. She said, "By Allah! I have done no wrong to him but he is impotent and is as useless to me as this," holding and showing the fringe of her garment, `Abdur-Rahman said, "By Allah, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! She has told a lie! I am very strong and can satisfy her but she is disobedient and wants to go back to Rifa`a." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, to her, "If that is your intention, then know that it is unlawful for you to remarry Rifa`a unless `Abdur-Rahman has had sexual intercourse with you." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) saw two boys with `Abdur- Rahman and asked (him), "Are these your sons?" On that `AbdurRahman said, "Yes." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You claim what you claim (i.e.. that he is impotent)? But by Allah, these boys resemble him as a crow resembles a crow

Rapporté par `Ikrima : Rifa`a a divorcé de sa femme, puis `AbdurRahman bin Az-Zubair Al-Qurazi l’a épousée. `Aisha a raconté que cette femme est venue la voir, portant un voile vert, et s’est plainte de son mari en lui montrant une marque verte sur sa peau causée par des coups. Les femmes avaient l’habitude de se soutenir entre elles, alors quand le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) est arrivé, `Aisha a dit : « Je n’ai jamais vu de femmes souffrir autant que les croyantes. Regardez ! Sa peau est plus verte que ses vêtements ! » Quand `AbdurRahman a appris que sa femme était allée voir le Prophète, il est venu avec ses deux fils d’une autre épouse. Elle a dit : « Par Allah ! Je ne lui ai rien fait de mal, mais il est impuissant et m’est aussi inutile que ceci », en tenant et montrant la frange de son vêtement. `AbdurRahman a dit : « Par Allah, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Elle ment ! Je suis très fort et je peux la satisfaire, mais elle est désobéissante et veut retourner auprès de Rifa`a. » Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) lui a dit : « Si c’est ton intention, alors sache qu’il t’est interdit de te remarier avec Rifa`a tant que `AbdurRahman n’a pas eu de rapport sexuel avec toi. » Ensuite, le Prophète (ﷺ) a vu deux garçons avec `AbdurRahman et lui a demandé : « Ce sont tes fils ? » `AbdurRahman a répondu : « Oui. » Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Tu affirmes ce que tu affirmes (c’est-à-dire qu’il est impuissant) ? Mais par Allah, ces garçons lui ressemblent comme un corbeau ressemble à un autre corbeau. »
