صحيح البخاري 5041

Narrated `Umar bin Khattab:I heard Hisham bin Hakim bin Hizam reciting Surat-al-Furqan during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), and I listened to his recitation and noticed that he recited it in several ways which Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had not taught me. So I was on the point of attacking him in the prayer, but I waited till he finished his prayer, and then I seized him by the collar and said, "Who taught you this Surah which I have heard you reciting?" He replied, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) taught it to me." I said, "You are telling a lie; By Allah! Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) taught me (in a different way) this very Surah which I have heard you reciting." So I took him, leading him to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I heard this person reciting Surat-al-Furqan in a way that you did not teach me, and you have taught me Surat-al-Furqan." The Prophet said, "O Hisham, recite!" So he recited in the same way as I heard him recite it before. On that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "It was revealed to be recited in this way." Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Recite, O `Umar!" So I recited it as he had taught me. Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) then said, "It was revealed to be recited in this way." Allah" Apostle added, "The Qur'an has been revealed to be recited in several different ways, so recite of it that which is easier for you

Rapporté par `Umar bin Khattab : J’ai entendu Hisham bin Hakim bin Hizam réciter la sourate al-Furqan du vivant du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), et j’ai écouté sa récitation et remarqué qu’il la récitait de plusieurs façons que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ne m’avait pas apprises. J’ai failli l’interrompre pendant la prière, mais j’ai attendu qu’il termine puis je l’ai attrapé par le col et je lui ai dit : « Qui t’a appris cette sourate que je t’ai entendu réciter ? » Il a répondu : « C’est le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) qui me l’a apprise. » J’ai dit : « Tu mens ! Par Allah ! Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) me l’a apprise d’une façon différente de celle que je t’ai entendu réciter. » Je l’ai alors emmené chez le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) et j’ai dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! J’ai entendu cette personne réciter la sourate al-Furqan d’une manière que tu ne m’as pas apprise, alors que tu m’as enseigné cette sourate. » Le Prophète a dit : « Ô Hisham, récite ! » Il a donc récité comme je l’avais entendu auparavant. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Elle a été révélée pour être récitée ainsi. » Puis le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Récite, ô `Umar ! » J’ai récité comme il me l’avait enseigné. Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a alors dit : « Elle a été révélée pour être récitée ainsi. » Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a ajouté : « Le Coran a été révélé pour être récité de différentes façons, alors récitez ce qui vous est le plus facile. »
