Narrated Anas:That his aunt, Ar-Rubai' broke an incisor tooth of a girl. My aunt's family requested the girl's relatives for forgiveness but they refused; then they proposed a compensation, but they refused. Then they went to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and refused everything except Al-Qisas (i.e. equality in punishment). So Allah's Apostle passed the judgment of Al-Qisas (i.e. equality of punishment). Anas bin Al-Nadr said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Will the incisor tooth of Ar-Rubai be broken? No, by Him Who sent you with the Truth, her incisor tooth will not be broken." Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "O Anas! The prescribed law of Allah is equality in punishment (i.e. Al-Qisas.)" Thereupon those people became satisfied and forgave her. Then Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Among Allah's Worshippers there are some who, if they took Allah's Oath (for something), Allah fulfills their oaths

Rapporté par Anas : Sa tante, Ar-Rubai', a cassé une dent d'une fille. La famille de ma tante a demandé pardon à la famille de la fille, mais ils ont refusé ; puis ils ont proposé une compensation, mais ils ont encore refusé. Ils sont alors allés voir le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) et n'ont accepté que le Qisas (l'égalité dans la punition). Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a donc jugé en faveur du Qisas. Anas bin Al-Nadr a dit : « Ô Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) ! Est-ce que la dent d'Ar-Rubai' sera cassée ? Non, par Celui qui t'a envoyé avec la vérité, sa dent ne sera pas cassée. » Le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Ô Anas ! La loi prescrite par Allah est l'égalité dans la punition (le Qisas). » À ce moment-là, les gens ont été satisfaits et ont pardonné à Ar-Rubai'. Puis le Messager d'Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Parmi les serviteurs d'Allah, il y en a qui, s'ils font un serment au nom d'Allah, Allah exauce leur serment. »
