Narrated Anas bin Malik:The Prophet (ﷺ) went out on one of his journeys with some of his companions. They went on walking till the time of the prayer became due. They could not find water to perform the ablution. One of them went away and brought a little amount of water in a pot. The Prophet (ﷺ) took it and performed the ablution, and then stretched his four fingers on to the pot and said (to the people), "Get up to perform the ablution." They started performing the ablution till all of them did it, and they were seventy or so persons

Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Le Prophète (ﷺ) partit en voyage avec certains de ses compagnons. Ils marchèrent jusqu’à ce que l’heure de la prière arrive, mais ils ne trouvèrent pas d’eau pour faire leurs ablutions. L’un d’eux partit et rapporta un peu d’eau dans un récipient. Le Prophète (ﷺ) la prit, fit ses ablutions, puis posa ses quatre doigts sur le récipient et dit aux gens : « Venez faire vos ablutions. » Ils commencèrent à se purifier jusqu’à ce que tous aient terminé, et ils étaient environ soixante-dix
