صحيح البخاري 30

Narrated Al-Ma'rur: At Ar-Rabadha I met Abu Dhar who was wearing a cloak, and his slave, too, was wearing a similar one. I asked about the reason for it. He replied, "I abused a person by calling his mother with bad names." The Prophet said to me, 'O Abu Dhar! Did you abuse him by calling his mother with bad names You still have some characteristics of ignorance. Your slaves are your brothers and Allah has put them under your command. So whoever has a brother under his command should feed him of what he eats and dress him of what he wears. Do not ask them (slaves) to do things beyond their capacity (power) and if you do so, then help them

Rapporté par Al-Ma'rur : À Ar-Rabadha, j'ai rencontré Abu Dhar qui portait un manteau, et son esclave en portait un similaire. J'ai demandé la raison de cela. Il a répondu : J'ai insulté quelqu'un en l'appelant par le nom de sa mère de façon blessante. Le Prophète m'a dit : Ô Abu Dhar ! As-tu insulté quelqu'un en l'appelant par le nom de sa mère ? Tu as encore des traits de l'ignorance. Vos esclaves sont vos frères et Allah les a placés sous votre responsabilité. Donc, celui qui a un frère sous son autorité doit le nourrir de ce qu'il mange et l'habiller de ce qu'il porte. Ne leur demandez pas des choses au-dessus de leurs capacités et si vous le faites, alors aidez-les
