صحيح البخاري 2864

Narrated Abu 'Is-haq:Somebody asked Al-Bar-a bin `Azib, "Did you flee deserting Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) during the battle of Hunain?" Al-Bara replied, "But Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) did not flee. The people of the Tribe of Hawazin were good archers. When we met them, we attacked them, and they fled. When the Muslims started collecting the war booty, the pagans faced us with arrows, but Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) did not flee. No doubt, I saw him on his white mule and Abu Sufyan was holding its reins and the Prophet (ﷺ) was saying, 'I am the Prophet (ﷺ) in truth: I am the son of `Abdul Muttalib

Rapporté par Abu 'Is-haq : Quelqu’un a demandé à Al-Barâ bin `Azib : « As-tu fui en abandonnant le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) lors de la bataille de Hunayn ? » Al-Barâ a répondu : « Mais le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) n’a pas fui. Les gens de la tribu de Hawazin étaient de bons archers. Quand nous les avons rencontrés, nous les avons attaqués et ils ont fui. Quand les musulmans ont commencé à ramasser le butin, les païens nous ont fait face avec des flèches, mais le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) n’a pas fui. J’ai vu, sans aucun doute, qu’il était sur sa mule blanche et qu’Abu Sufyan tenait ses rênes, et le Prophète (ﷺ) disait : ‘Je suis le Prophète (ﷺ) en vérité : je suis le fils d’`Abdul Muttalib.’ »
