صحيح البخاري 2713

Narrated `Urwa: Aisha told me, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to examine them according to this Verse: "O you who believe! When the believing women come to you, as emigrants test them . . . for Allah is Oft- Forgiving, Most Merciful." (60.10-12) Aisha said, "When any of them agreed to that condition Allah's Apostle would say to her, 'I have accepted your pledge of allegiance.' He would only say that, but, by Allah he never touched the hand of any women (i.e. never shook hands with them) while taking the pledge of allegiance and he never took their pledge of allegiance except by his words (only)

Rapporté par `Urwa : Aisha m’a raconté : « Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) les examinait selon ce verset : “Ô vous qui croyez ! Lorsque des femmes croyantes viennent à vous en tant qu’émigrantes, testez-les… car Allah est Pardonneur et Miséricordieux.” (60.10-12) Aisha a dit : « Quand l’une d’elles acceptait cette condition, le Messager d’Allah lui disait : ‘J’accepte ton engagement.’ Il ne disait que cela, mais, par Allah, il n’a jamais touché la main d’une femme (c’est-à-dire qu’il ne leur serrait pas la main) lors de la prise d’engagement, et il n’a accepté leur engagement que par ses paroles. »
