صحيح البخاري 2269

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Umar bin Al-Khattab:Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Your example and the example of Jews and Christians is like the example of a man who employed some laborers to whom he said, 'Who will work for me up to midday for one Qirat each?' The Jews carried out the work for one Qirat each; and then the Christians carried out the work up to the `Asr prayer for one Qirat each; and now you Muslims are working from the `Asr prayer up to sunset for two Qirats each. The Jews and Christians got angry and said, 'We work more and are paid less.' The employer (Allah) asked them, 'Have I usurped some of your right?' They replied in the negative. He said, 'That is My Blessing, I bestow upon whomever I wish

Rapporté par `Abdullah bin `Umar bin Al-Khattab : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Votre situation et celle des Juifs et des Chrétiens ressemble à celle d’un homme qui a embauché des ouvriers à qui il a dit : “Qui travaillera pour moi jusqu’à midi pour un qirat chacun ?” Les Juifs ont fait le travail pour un qirat chacun ; puis les Chrétiens ont travaillé jusqu’à la prière d’`Asr pour un qirat chacun ; et maintenant, vous, les musulmans, travaillez de l’`Asr jusqu’au coucher du soleil pour deux qirats chacun. Les Juifs et les Chrétiens se sont fâchés et ont dit : “Nous travaillons plus et sommes payés moins.” L’employeur (Allah) leur a demandé : “Ai-je pris une partie de votre droit ?” Ils ont répondu non. Il a dit : “C’est Ma bénédiction, Je la donne à qui Je veux.” »
