صحيح البخاري 2115

Narrated Ibn 'Umar (ra) :We were accompanying the Prophet (ﷺ) on a journey and I was riding an unmanageable camel belonging to 'Umar (ra), and I could not bring it under my control. So, it used to go ahead of the party and 'Umar would check it and force it to retreat, and again it went ahead and again 'Umar forced it to retreat. The Prophet (ﷺ) asked 'Umar to sell that camel to him. 'Umar replied, "It is for you O Allah's Messenger !" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) told 'Umar to sell that camel to him (not to give it as gift). So, 'Umar sold it to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ). Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said to 'Abdullah bin 'Umar "This camel is for you O 'Abdullah (as a present) and you could do with it whatever you like

Rapporté par Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنه) : Nous accompagnions le Prophète (ﷺ) lors d’un voyage et je montais un chameau difficile à contrôler qui appartenait à 'Umar (رضي الله عنه), et je n’arrivais pas à le maîtriser. Il dépassait souvent le groupe et 'Umar le ramenait en arrière, puis il repartait devant et 'Umar le ramenait encore. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a demandé à 'Umar de lui vendre ce chameau. 'Umar a répondu : « Il est à toi, ô Messager d’Allah ! » Mais le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a insisté pour l’acheter et non le recevoir en cadeau. Alors 'Umar l’a vendu au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). Ensuite, le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit à 'Abdullah bin 'Umar : « Ce chameau est pour toi, ô 'Abdullah (comme cadeau), tu peux en faire ce que tu veux. »
