صحيح البخاري 1963

Narrated Abu Sa`id:That he had heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Do not fast continuously (practice Al-Wisal), and if you intend to lengthen your fast, then carry it on only till the Suhur (before the following dawn)." The people said to him, "But you practice (Al-Wisal), O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" He replied, "I am not similar to you, for during my sleep I have One Who makes me eat and drink

Rapporté par Abu Sa`id : Il a entendu le Prophète ﷺ dire : « Ne jeûnez pas sans interruption (ne pratiquez pas Al-Wisal), et si vous voulez prolonger votre jeûne, alors continuez seulement jusqu’au moment du Suhur (avant l’aube). » Les gens lui ont dit : « Mais tu pratiques Al-Wisal, ô Messager d’Allah ﷺ ! » Il a répondu : « Je ne suis pas comme vous, car pendant mon sommeil, j’ai Quelqu’un qui me nourrit et me donne à boire. »
