صحيح البخاري 1941

Narrated Ibn Abi `Aufa:We were in the company of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on a journey. He said to a man, "Get down and mix Sawiq (powdered barley) with water for me." The man said, "The sun (has not set yet), O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)." The Prophet (ﷺ) again said to him, "Get down and mix Sawiq with water for me." The man again said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! The sun!" The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him (for the third time) "Get down and mix Sawiq with water for me." The man dismounted and mixed Sawiq with water for him. The Prophet (ﷺ) drank it and then beckoned with his hand (towards the East) and said, "When you see the night falling from this side, then a fasting person should break his fast

Rapporté par Ibn Abi ‘Aufa : Nous étions en voyage avec le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). Il a dit à un homme : « Descends et mélange du sawiq (orge moulue) avec de l’eau pour moi. » L’homme a dit : « Le soleil n’est pas encore couché, ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). » Le Prophète (ﷺ) lui a encore dit : « Descends et mélange du sawiq avec de l’eau pour moi. » L’homme a répété : « Ô Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) ! Le soleil ! » Le Prophète (ﷺ) lui a dit une troisième fois : « Descends et mélange du sawiq avec de l’eau pour moi. » L’homme est descendu et a mélangé le sawiq avec de l’eau pour lui. Le Prophète (ﷺ) l’a bu puis a fait un geste de la main (vers l’Est) et a dit : « Quand vous voyez la nuit tomber de ce côté, alors le jeûneur doit rompre son jeûne. »
