Narrated Ibn `Abbas:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Allah has made Mecca a sanctuary (sacred place) and it was a sanctuary before me and will be so after me. It was made legal for me (to fight in it) for a few hours of the day. None is allowed to uproot its thorny shrubs or to cut its trees or to chase its game or to pick up its fallen things except by a person who announces it publicly." On that Al-Abbas said (to the Prophet), "Except Al- Idhkhir for our goldsmiths and for our graves." And so the Prophet (ﷺ) added, "Except Al-Idhkhir. " And Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Except Al-Idhkhir for our graves and houses." And Ibn `Abbas said, "For their goldsmiths and houses

Rapporté par Ibn `Abbas : Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Allah a fait de La Mecque un sanctuaire (lieu sacré) et elle était un sanctuaire avant moi et le restera après moi. Il m’a été permis d’y combattre pendant quelques heures du jour. Il n’est permis à personne d’arracher ses plantes épineuses, ni de couper ses arbres, ni de chasser ses animaux, ni de ramasser ce qui y est tombé, sauf si cela est annoncé publiquement. » À ce moment-là, Al-Abbas a dit au Prophète : « Sauf l’Idhkhir pour nos orfèvres et pour nos tombes. » Le Prophète ﷺ a donc ajouté : « Sauf l’Idhkhir. » Et Abu Huraira a rapporté que le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Sauf l’Idhkhir pour nos tombes et nos maisons. » Et Ibn `Abbas a dit : « Pour leurs orfèvres et leurs maisons. »
