سنن أبي داود 853

Anas b. Malik said:I did not offer prayer behind anyone more brief than the one offered by the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) and that was perfect. When the Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: “Allah listens to him who praises Him,” he stood long we thought that he had omitted something; then he say takbir(Allah is most great) and prostrate, and would sit between the two prostrations so long that we thought that he had omitted something

Rapporté par Anas b. Malik : Je n’ai jamais prié derrière quelqu’un qui faisait une prière plus courte que celle du Messager d’Allah ﷺ, et pourtant elle était parfaite. Quand le Messager d’Allah ﷺ disait : « Allah entend celui qui Le loue », il restait debout si longtemps que nous pensions qu’il avait oublié quelque chose ; puis il disait le takbir (« Allah est le plus grand ») et se prosternait, et il restait assis entre les deux prosternations si longtemps que nous pensions qu’il avait oublié quelque chose
