Narrated Abdullah ibn Mas'ud: AbuZayd quoted Abdullah ibn Mas'ud as saying that on the night when the jinn listened to the Qur'an the Prophet (ﷺ) said: What is in your skin vessel? He said: I have some nabidh. He (the Holy Prophet) said: It consists of fresh dates and pure water. Sulayman ibn Dawud reported the same version of this tradition on the authority of AbuZayd or Zayd. But Sharik said that Hammad did not mention the words "night of the jinn

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Mas'ud رضي الله عنه : Abu Zayd a rapporté qu’Abdullah ibn Mas'ud disait que, la nuit où les djinns ont écouté le Coran, le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « Qu’y a-t-il dans ta gourde ? » Il a répondu : « J’ai du nabidh. » Le Prophète ﷺ a dit : « C’est composé de dattes fraîches et d’eau pure. » Sulayman ibn Dawud a rapporté la même version de ce récit d’après Abu Zayd ou Zayd. Mais Sharik a dit que Hammad n’a pas mentionné les mots « la nuit des djinns »
