سنن أبي داود 74

Narrated Ibn Mughaffal: The Messenger of Allaah (sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam) ordered the killing of the dogs, and then said: Why are they (people) after them (dogs)? and then granted permission (to keep) for hunting and for (the security) of the herd, and said : When the dog licks the utensil wash it seven times, and rub it with earth the eighth time. Abu Dawud said : Ibn Mughaffal narrated in a similar way

Rapporté par Ibn Mughaffal رضي الله عنه : Le Messager d’Allah ﷺ a ordonné de tuer les chiens, puis il a dit : « Pourquoi les gens s’en prennent-ils à eux ? » Ensuite, il a permis d’en garder pour la chasse et la garde des troupeaux, et il a dit : « Quand un chien lèche un récipient, lavez-le sept fois et frottez-le avec de la terre la huitième fois. » Abu Dawud a dit : Ibn Mughaffal a rapporté de façon similaire
