Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: If anyone hears him who makes the call to prayer and is not prevented from joining the congregation by any excuse--he was asked what an excuse consisted of and replied that it was fear or illness--the prayer he offers will not be accepted from him

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Abbas : Si quelqu’un entend celui qui fait l’appel à la prière et n’est pas empêché de rejoindre le groupe par une excuse — on lui a demandé ce qu’était une excuse et il a répondu que c’était la peur ou la maladie — la prière qu’il fait ne sera pas acceptée de lui
