سنن أبي داود 5110

Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas: AbuZumayl said: I asked Ibn Abbas, saying: What is that I find in my breast? He asked: What is it? I replied: I swear by Allah, I cannot speak about it. He asked me: Is it something doubtful? and he laughed. He then said: No one could escape that, until Allah, the exalted, revealed: "If thou went in doubt as to what we have revealed unto thee, and ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee." He said: If you find something in your heart, say: He is the first and the Last, the Evident and the Immanent, and He has full knowledge of all things

Rapporté par Abdullah ibn Abbas : AbuZumayl a dit : J’ai demandé à Ibn Abbas : « Qu’est-ce que ce que je ressens dans ma poitrine ? » Il a demandé : « Qu’est-ce donc ? » J’ai répondu : « Par Allah, je n’ose pas en parler. » Il m’a demandé : « Est-ce un doute ? » et il a ri. Puis il a dit : « Personne n’y échappe, jusqu’à ce qu’Allah, le Très-Haut, ait révélé : “Si tu es dans le doute à propos de ce que Nous t’avons révélé, demande à ceux qui lisent le Livre avant toi.” » Il a dit : « Si tu ressens quelque chose dans ton cœur, dis : Il est le Premier et le Dernier, l’Apparent et le Caché, et Il connaît toute chose. »
