Tha’labah b. Dubai’ah said:We entered upon Hudhaifah. He said: I know a man whom the trails will not harm. We came out and found that a tent was pitched. We entered and found in it Muhammad b. Maslamah. We asked him about it. He said : I do not intent that any place of your towns should occupy me until that which is prevailing is removed

Rapporté par Tha’labah b. Dubai’ah : Nous sommes allés voir Hudhayfah. Il a dit : « Je connais un homme que les épreuves ne toucheront pas. » Nous sommes sortis et avons vu une tente dressée. Nous sommes entrés et avons trouvé Muhammad b. Maslamah. Nous l’avons interrogé à ce sujet. Il a dit : « Je ne veux pas qu’aucune ville ne m’occupe tant que ce qui prévaut ne sera pas passé. »
